Jisho Touch 1.1 Submitted

Jisho Touch 1.1 has been submitted to the AppStore and is pending approval.

As I was mentioning in the last post about the entries in JMDict and how some of their formatting has irked me for a while. Irk me no more! I’ve fixed it and the best part is searching is improved. It also fixes entries where it has extra in the middle and such.

Moreover, extra whitespace and such is ignored when searching allowing one to be a bit less exact with input (which somtimes happens when you are walking around looking at your iPhone).

Also added is the ability to toggle displayed languages off and on. So if you don’t want to see Russian in every entry you can turn it off in the Preferences.

The database has been updated to the latest available as well, gaining a few entries and refinements I’m sure.

I’ve also added Japanese and German Localization! This should hopefully make the user experience that much better for that many more people. A huge thanks goes out to Sascha Holesch for making the German localization possible.
