Jisho 2.3.1 Released

I’ve made a minor update to Jisho, 2.3.1 available today. Of note in this release is something I meant to get in the 2.3 release but had forgotten about it until afterwards is the main window now reappears when you click dock icon.

Purchasing has also been moved solely to the web store, which should be getting revamped over the course of the next couple of days.

Jisho 2.3.1 of course is a free upgrade for all users. Registered users can update within Jisho by clicking the “Check for Updates…” item in the “Jisho” menu.

If you haven’t tried Jisho yet, give it a try by downloading it today.

Jisho Paid Users Milestone

Although recently all the buzz on the blog has been about Byōyomi, I am still hard at work on Jisho.

With Jisho 2.1 I completely rewrote the way Jisho interfaced with the dictionary file. Now I’m working on completely rewriting the dictionary to allow for even more data, more information and more goodness. Today though is not a new release.

Today Jisho gained its 350th paying user. Thank you to each and every user, I hope you enjoy Jisho and will continue to in the future.

If you haven’t a clue what I’m talking about download Jisho and see what all the noise is about.
