Who
Sugoi Soft is a run by James Van Dyne. James is a 22 year old college student / programmer from California, that has been transplanted to San Marcos, Texas. He is attending Texas State University majoring in International Studies - Asian Studies and minoring in Japanese and Geography. He is currently on exchange in Japan attending Meiji Gakuin Unversity in Tokyo.
Why
James created Sugoi Soft because he was working on Jisho in his spare time, and thought that others could use his work as well.
Misc Stuff
All development is done on a 15" Macbook Pro (Intel Core Duo) running Mac OS X Leopard.
Sugoi Soft is a big fan of Open Source Software, and contributes if time allows. If you haven't heard of Growl yet, check it out.
